Hug an Angel
Threads of Love, Woven with Care
We transform donated wedding and formal gowns into precious burial garments for babies gone too soon — a heartfelt gesture of compassion and peace.
Our Story
Hello I am Becky Ramsay, and I am truly honored to share my mission with you. I have founded the Hug an Angel project, an initiative dedicated to creating beautiful gowns for families who are grieving the heartbreaking loss of their infants.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of brides attendants, mothers of the bride and groom and girls with prom dresses who have donated their gowns for use for this project.
Each gown is made with love and care, ensuring that every precious little one is honored with dignity and grace. I am always welcoming the above mentioned gown donations, as every contribution make a meaningful difference in preserving the memory of these angels for families in our community and across Canada.
It warms my heart to know that through my initiative, I can help so many families find a little comfort during their darkest moments. Thank you for your support and for standing with me in this important mission.

Words of Thanks
I just wanted to send you a personal note to thank you for the beautiful clothes that you made and donated to Covenant. Someone showed me the outfits today and it brought me to tears. You see, my son and his wife had a stillborn baby boy this past March. My daughter-in-law was 37 weeks along when Nash was born. It has been the single hardest thing that our family has dealt with. Your kind and thoughtful gesture will bring comfort to others and I simply wanted to express my gratitude.

On behalf of St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) Foundation, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your thoughtful in-kind donation of the Sleeping Angel Gowns, blankets, and memory pillows.
STEGH Foundation is committed to partnering with the community to support our hospital in the delivery of an excellent patient care experience. This beautiful initiative is a testament to our mission and will help ease the pain of families who have endured the heartbreaking loss of an infant.
It is especially heartwarming to know that each item was handmade through donated clothing, and we are thankful for the amount of love and care that went into creating every gown.
Becky, thank you for thinking of families in our community and helping them find comfort in the most challenging times of their lives. We are grateful for your support.
Sincerely,
Mary Lou Crowley
